On Thursday, June 15th 2023, a 32-year-old man from Ohio snapped and executed his family, killing his three sons and attempting to murder his spouse as well.
Chad Doerman shot his wife but she survived the attack with non-threatening gunshot wounds.
Doerman is accused of fatally shooting his three young sons and admitted to planning the killings and lining them up before executing them with a rifle.
Clermont County’s chief prosecutor of Municipal Court, David Gast, said during Doerman’s arraignment Friday that one of the boys tried to flee into a nearby field but Doerman “hunted” his son down and brought him back to their home before killing him.
Chad Doerman also shot at his wife in an attempt to kill her but failed. Doerman has been charged with three counts of aggravated murder in the deaths of the boys, who are aged three, four and seven.

According to police, Chad Doerman wife who is 34-years-old was outside the home and had suffered a gunshot to the hand while trying to shield her sons from their father. She was transported to a hospital with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening.
David Gast, head of the Clermont County Prosecutor’s Office Criminal Division said in court that Chad Doerman planned his killing for months and that his wife had attempted to stop him.
“This did not happen on a whim,” Gast said in court. “The trauma that this man has inflicted on his family, the community, law enforcement, first responders, and all of the rest of us who have any idea of what is going on here is unspeakable,”
He added: “…The evil horror of what we know is impossible to process. In an act of just incomprehensible cruelty, the father lined up his three young boys and he executed him in his own home with a rifle.”
He commended Chad Doerman wife for her bravery, revealing her futile efforts to stop her deranged husband.
“In an act of desperation, the mother at some point grabbed the gun that the father was wielding to attempt to protect them,” he added.
Chad Doerman wife’s name is Laura, reportedly 34 years of age. Chad Doerman and his wife have four kids, the three executed boys and a daughter who survived the harrowing shooting.
Several days after the horrific crime, neighbors told the media that Chad Doerman had a horrific temper and treated his wife horribly.
Neighbour Richard Kincannon told WCPO News: “He was angry every day. There wasn’t a day he didn’t yell at his wife and kids out there.”
He added that Doerman had a temper, “yelling all the time and treating (his wife) like s***.”
Doerman’s friend Mark Holland told The Messenger that those who knew the couple said Doerman would regularly argue with his wife Laura.
“He had a bad temper, really bad. I think he was a bomb ready to explode,” he said.
Chad Doerman wife also has a sister, Rachel Brown, who organised a GoFundMe to help the family following the shooting.
“My sister lost her three amazing babies yesterday. Nothing will make this better, it will never be okay. But please if you can find it in your heart to help relieve the financial burden of this tragedy, please donate. No one should have to go through this,” her post on GoFundMe reads.
At the time of filing this report, the GoFundMe has raised over $140,000, far over its initial goal of $20,000.

The father of the Ohio man who executed his sons, Keith Doerman told the media he has no idea what made Chad Doerman execute his kids and attack his wife.
“He just snapped,” the elder Doerman told The New York Post Saturday.
“There was something going on in his life that he couldn’t handle no more. I can’t talk to him, they aren’t letting me talk to him so I don’t have any answers. He probably hid a lot of stuff from me.”
Keith Doerman said that he had just visited Chad last week.
“He seemed fine,” Doerman said. “He was a jokester and a fun-loving guy.”

Doerman insisted that Chad had no history of mental illness or strange behavior or a criminal record.

The Ohio man who callously executes his three sons, Chad Doerman had a daughter who escaped the carnage.
According to reports, details of the shooting first got out due to Chad Doerman’s daughter running around the street screaming about her father shooting everyone.
Chad Doerman wife additionally is also believed to have called 911.
Deputies responded to the Doerman home in Monroe Township shortly before 4:30 pm Thursday, local time, after receiving a pair of 911 calls, one apparently from the Chad Doerman wife who was screaming that “her babies had been shot” and another from a passing motorist who said a Chad Doerman daughter was running down the street saying her father was killing people.
The deputies found three boys, ages 3, 4 and 7, outside the home with gunshot wounds and tried to save their lives, but the children died at the scene.
Due to police tightly keeping information about the shooting, Chad Doerman’s daughter’s name is not available. Chad Doberman daughters age is also not available.
Haunting police bodycam footage shows the moment officers arrived to find Chad calmly seated next to his rifle on Thursday afternoon moments after allegedly executing his young sons.
Doerman was detained without incident after he was found on the steps of his Ohio property.

The deputies discovered the victims, aged 3, 4, and 7, unresponsive in the yard with gunshot wounds. They tried to revive the children until the Monroe Fire/EMS arrived but all of them succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
The 34-year-old mother of the kids, Chad Doerman wife was also outside the property when deputies arrived, with what appeared to be a single gunshot wound to the hand that was not life-threatening.
She was taken to University Hospital in Cincinnati, where she was informed that her children had died.
Chad Doerman daughter had escaped the shooting and raised an alert which led to the 911 call.

Ohio Father Killed Three Sons
An Ohio father shockingly killed three sons – aged 3, 4, and 7 – and admitted to planning the killings and lined them up before executing them with a rifle, prosecutors said Friday.
32-year-old Chad Doerman is also accused of wounding his 34-year-old wife, the boys’ mother at the family’s home.
He has been charged with aggravated murder with bail set at $20m.

Chad Doerman is curently being held in Clermont County Jail after he killed three sons.
Court documents said Doerman “confessed to planning and carrying out the deaths of victims involved for several months.”

Detectives from the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office are currently investigating a triple homicide at a home in the 1900 block of Laurel Lindale Rd. in Monroe Township.
At 4:15pm on June 15, 2023, The Clermont County Communication Center received a 911 call from an unknown female (Chad Doerman wife) who was screaming that “her babies had been shot.” At 4:18pm, a second 911 call was made to the Communication Center from a passerby (driving on the road) who reported that a female juvenile (Chad Doberman daughter) was seen running down the road stating that “her father was killing everyone.”
Clermont County Sheriff’s Road Patrol Deputies responded to a residence in the 1900 block of Laurel Lindale Rd. and made contact with an adult male, later identified as Chad Doerman age 32, sitting on a step outside of the residence. Doerman was detained without incident. Deputies discovered three unresponsive gunshot victims in the yard of the residence and attempted life saving measures until Monroe Fire/EMS arrived.
All life saving measures were unsuccessful and all three gunshot victims succumbed to their injuries while on scene.
A fourth gunshot victim, later identified as an adult female age 34, was also located outside of the residence. The female sustained what appeared to be a single gunshot wound to her hand, non-life threatening. The female was transported by the Monroe Twp EMS to University Hospital in Cincinnati. Sheriff Leahy responded to University Hospital and met with the female to make notification on the status of her three deceased sons.

Detectives and Crime Scene Units from the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office responded to the residence to interview witnesses and process the scene.
Chad Doerman has been transported to the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office where he is currently being interviewed by detectives.
There were no signs of forced entry into the home and the Sheriff’s Office is not searching for outstanding suspects.
There does not appear to be any threat to the community at this time.
The Clermont County Coroner’s Office responded to the scene and transported the bodies of the deceased to the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office for autopsies.
The deceased individuals, all brothers, have been identified as: Male juvenile, age 7, Male juvenile, age 4, Male juvenile age 3
This investigation remains ongoing and additional information will be released as it develops.
