After the New York Times reviewed the film, Stewartson went ballistic.
“Sound of Freedom” is a dangerous child-trafficking exploitation film being weaponized to incite a death cult to target Democrats in order to destabilize American democracy. It was funded by actual s*x traffickers and accused s*xual predators.
“The brainwashed “star” [Jim Caviezel] believes Satanic Democrats are drinking children’s blood and regularly appears at Mike Flynn’s QAnon radicalization events. The alleged “hero” of the film has funneled tens of millions of dollars from donations to his own bank accounts after raising money from conspiracy theories like children being shipped in Wayfair furniture—and from selling “the raid experience” to wealthy donors.

In the state of Missouri, child kidnapping is a class A felony. If found guilty, Marta could face 10 years to life in prison.
He was released on self-recognizance bail set at $15,000 with his court date scheduled for Aug. 28.
On social media, Fabian Marta had proudly bragged about his role in funding Sound of Freedom.
“The Sound of Freedom movie tackles a very tough subject, and took extraordinary effort to bring it to movie theaters,” a now-deleted post on the Fabian Marta Facebook page read.
“I’m proud to have been a small part of it. If you see the movie look for ‘Fabian Marta and Family’ at the very end of the credits.”
Indeed, “Fabian Marta & Family” appears on a list of funding contributors in the film’s credits at around 129 minutes and 30 seconds into its run time.
Fabian Marta’s attorney St. Louis-based Scott Rosenblum confirmed it was true his client both provided some funding for “Sound of Freedom” and was under investigation for felony child kidnapping in Missouri.
“He has been charged,” Rosenblum told Snopes. “We will enter a plea of not guilty.”
Marta himself spoke to the Daily Mail, saying: “There is a ton that is wrong here,”
The website for Angel Studios, the distributor for “Sound of Freedom,” detailed that over 6,600 individuals pitched in as “Angel investors” to raise nearly $5 million in funds to go toward the movie’s theatrical release.
Angel Studios Co-Founder Jeffrey Harmon dismissed the irony of Fabian Marta’s arrest when notified, pointing towards an effort to discredit the movie.
“Hollywood has never seen credits like these. Over 6600 Angel investors in Sound of Freedom P&A will be getting a return on their investment soon. This is part of the secret sauce to @AngelStudiosInc successful theatrical runs like Sound of Freedom and The Chosen and His Only Son.,” he tweeted.
“There are 6,600+ investors in the public P&A crowdfunding round,” he added. “Someone had to do some serious homework to find one random dude isn’t a good guy.”

In an official company statement sent by email, Angel Studios’ other co-founder, Neal Harmon, who is Jeffrey Harmon’s brother, said: “Angel Studios adhered to the requirements of federal and state laws and regulations in allowing 6,678 people to invest an average of $501 each into the launch of Sound of Freedom.
“Just as anyone can invest in the stock market, everyone who meets the legal criteria can invest in Angel Studios projects. One of the perks of investing was the ability to be listed in the credits.”

According to reports, Jessica “Laurent” Clark, girlfriend of credited “Sound of Freedom” funder Fabian Marta used to run “Sugar Boot Camp” where women and girls—no age requirement—can “learn to be unforgettable.”
Fabian Marta reportedly helped fund Marta’s run but unfortunately, they now appear to have broken up.
Sound of Freedom is a 2023 American action film directed and co-written by Alejandro Monteverde, and starring Jim Caviezel, Mira Sorvino and Bill Camp. Caviezel plays Tim Ballard, a former U.S. government agent who embarks on a mission to rescue children from sex traffickers in Colombia.
It is produced by Eduardo Verástegui, who also plays a role in the film. The plot centers around Ballard’s Operation Underground Railroad, an anti-sex trafficking organization.
