Who is Micah Nunn? Fort Wayne Walmart Shooting Suspect on the Run

Micah Nunn has been identified as the suspect in a shooting at a Southtown Walmart in Fort Wayne Thursday that killed one person.

Nunn has been identified by police as standing at 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 240 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

He is to be considered armed and dangerous and anyone who comes into contact is advised not to approach him.

The shooting

One person was killed in a shooting outside of the Southtown Walmart in Fort Wayne, Indiana, late Thursday morning.

Officers were called to the Walmart, at 7502 N Southtown Crossing, around 11:40 a.m. regarding a reported shooting in the parking lot near the grocery entrance.

According to authorities, the victim was inside his car when another car pulled up next to him in the parking lot.

The driver, now identified as Micah Nunn, got out of their car, went into the victim’s car, and then shot him.

The suspect then got back into his car and fled the scene.

The victim, who has been partially identified as Devon, was rushed to an area hospital in critical condition but later succumbed to his injuries.

The Fort Wayne Police Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation and is currently combing through surveillance video and interviewing witnesses.

Aside the Homicide Unit, the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office, and the Coroner’s Office are also investigating the incident.
