Who are Morgan and Payton Foster? Owensboro Siblings Involved in Deadly Accident

The lives of a family from Owensboro, Kentucky were irrevocably damaged Friday night when two siblings were involved in a multi-vehicle crash.

Morgan Foster was killed in the accident while Payton was left with life-threatening injuries including broken bones.

Maddox Hall of Utica, Ky, was arrested by authorities for driving under the influence following the crash.

On May 10, 2024, at approximately 9:09 pm, Officers responded to the 3400 Block of New Hartford Road in response to a multiple-vehicle injury collision.

One person was found dead from the crash (Morgan) and another was left with life-threatening injuries (Payton).

One other person was taken to OHRH for severe injuries.

Maddox Hall was taken into custody and charged with the following charges:

  • Operating Motor Vehicle U/influence Alc (Agg Cir)
  • Vehicular Homicide When Under the Influence of Alcohol
  • Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree (4 counts)
  • Leaving the Scene of Accident/Fail to REN/Assist W/ Death or Serious Phys Injuries

The Foster family started a GoFundMe to raise money for the funeral and medical bills of the deceased sisters.

“Hello my name is John Nelson and on May 10th 2024, my family’s world took a tragic turn for the worse. My sisters were involved in a car wreck that sadly took our sweet Morgan from us, and left Payton with multiple broken bones and injuries.

“Payton will have to go through rehab to be able to get back to her feet. She would never ask for help, so that’s why I’m here. With funeral expenses and her not being able to work anything could be help. Even if it’s just a prayer or a good vibe,” John Nelson wrote on GoFundMe.
