Maurnice Declue has been identified as the lady aggressor in a fight at East Hazelwood High School that left one person hospitalized.

A crazy brawl broke out at East Hazelwood High School in Spanish Lake, Missouri with video of the fight landing on social media.

The video showed two females engaged in a tussle.

In the fight, one female could be seen slamming the head of the victim hard multiple times on the concrete pathway they were fighting on.

Video of the fight went viral on social media, leading to a search for the perpetrator.

Who is Maurnice Declue?

The perpetrator has now been identified as one Maurnice Declue.

This is due to comments left on social media by those who watched the video including Youtuber Wall Street Silver and the news outlet Realstlnews.com.

“The violent savage who is slamming the White girl into the pavement is named Maurnice DeClue. She better get charged with murder,” one of the comments on the fight reads, shared on X (formerly Twitter) by @RadioGenoa.

Another said: “This is attempted (if not) murder,”

According to reports, the victim was critically injured and had to be rushed to the hospital with critical injuries.

The Realstlnews identified the victim as Kailee and said those involved in the fight had met to expressly throw down!

“HAZELWOOD EAST STUDENTS MEET UP TO FIGHT BUT IT TURNS VIOLENT AFTER A GIRL IS LEFT WITH A HEAD INJURY,” the page wrote.

“We’re sadden (sic) to inform the community about a fight that occurred yesterday evening with a group of students from Hazelwood East.

“An altercation between two parties turns violent after the victim who has been identified as Kailee suffered a serious head injury. According to several sources the fight took place on the street Claudine near Hazelwood East High School,”

St Louis County Police announced a 15-year-old girl, presumably Declue, has been arrested and is being held on assault charges.

Kailee remains hospitalized with a skull fracture, frontal lobe damage, major brain bleeding and swelling.

Her family has also set up Gofundme fundraisers to raise money for her treatment.

One fundraiser, titled ‘Kaylee on her Road to Recovery’, has raised nearly $100,000 out of its $120,000 as at the most recent update to this article.

A 2nd one, titled  ‘Kaylee’s Recovery funds’, has raised $1,100 out of a $10,000 goal.

Following the fight, the Hazelwood School District posted a statement on social media offering condolences to the victims and families.

“It is a tragedy anytime children are hurt,” the statement reads.

“Bullying and fighting in the community is an issue for which we all need to take ownership and work towards a resolution for the sake of our children.

“The Hazelwood School District offers our sincerest condolences to everyone involved and will offer additional emotional support from our support and crisis team to those in need.”

“We look forward to continuing to partner with our community for the sake of our children. Please be kind and respectful of the families involved during this difficult time and pledge to help work toward the betterment of our entire community,” the district said.

Little public information is available about Maurice Declue, although the school’s official website lists her as having played for the volleyball team from 2023-2024.

Reacting to the incident following her arrest, Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey called for Declue to be tried as an adult.

“This evil and complete disregard for human life has no place in Missouri, or anywhere. I am praying for the victim,” he said on X.

“The criminal should be charged and tried as an adult. If the victim dies, that offense should rise to a homicide,”

The fight involving Maurnice Declue invokes memories of the Gilbert Goons.

The Gilbert Goons are a group of affluent teenagers from multiple southeast Valley high schools in Arizona. For over a year, they have been randomly attacking other teens outside fast-food restaurants, in mall parking lots, and at parks and house parties.

These attacks have been caught on video and have caused significant concern in the community.

In a tragic incident, Preston Lord, a 16-year-old, lost his life due to a gang-style attack by the Gilbert Goons during a Halloween party in the Phoenix suburb of Queen Creek.

The attack shocked the community, and activists have held vigils and marched to protest growing gang violence in Gilbert, Mesa, Chandler, and other Phoenix suburbs.

Authorities have made several arrests related to this case. Dominic Turner, William Owen Hines, and two 17-year-old boys are charged with felony first-degree murder and kidnapping.

Hazelwood East High School

Hazelwood East High School is located at 11300 Dunn Road in Spanish Lake, Missouri.

It is one of three high schools in Hazelwood School District (HSD) in St. Louis County, Missouri, alongside Hazelwood Central High School and Hazelwood West High School.

Hazelwood East High School was established in 1974 with the classes of 1975 and 1976 attending split-class sessions in the existing Hazelwood High School building.

Hazelwood East and Hazelwood West students attended classes in the morning, and Hazelwood Central students attended in the afternoon. Hazelwood East’s new facility opened to students in the fall of 1976.

Notable alumni include Wesley Bell, prosecutor for St. Louis County, Chris Brooks, American football wide receiver, DeMontie Cross, American football coach and Bryan J. Fletcher, American football tight end.

Spanish Lake is a census-designated place (CDP) in St. Louis County, Missouri, United States.

The population was 18,413 at the 2020 census.

Spanish Lake, originally called Spanish Pond until the late nineteenth century, was named after the Spanish troops who stayed there while building a fortified post for Spain in 1768.

Much of the area was once the property of James De St. Vrain, a brother of the last Spanish lieutenant governor of Upper Louisiana.
