Jacky Oh, real name Jacklyn Smith, was the wife of American comedian DC Young Fly. They had three children together at the time of her death at 32 years old.

Reports say the former ‘Wild N Out’ star died Wednesday, May 31st 2023 in Miami. A social media post from ‘The Source’ alleges she died from complications from plastic surgery.

Jacky Oh met DC Young Fly in 2015 when he joined the cast of Wild N Out. At the time, Jacky Oh was already being featured as one of the show’s “Wild ‘N Out” girls at that point.

She left Wild N Out at a point to launch her own lip gloss line called the J Nova Collection.

DC Young Fly wife leaves behind the three children she had with the comedian – daughters Nova and Nala, and their son Prince.

DC Young Fly wife Jacky Oh cause of death has yet to be confirmed, but her passing was confirmed by a tribute post from the Wild N Out Instagram page.

“We are deeply saddened by the passing of Jacklyn Smith, known to the world as Jacky Oh, a talented Wild N’ Out family member whose impact will be forever treasured and missed,” a BET Media Group spokesperson said in a statement posted to Instagram.

“Jacky Oh was a loving friend and beloved colleague of the Wild N’ Out cast throughout five seasons. More importantly, she was a tremendous mother to three beautiful children. The BET Media Group extends our sincere condolences to the Smith family, DC Young Fly, B Simone, Nick Cannon, and all friends who loved and cared for Jacky Oh during this difficult time.”

DC Young Fly was reportedly away shooting episodes of the show when he was giving the devastating news of his wife death.

Social media poured out condolences for the late Jacky Oh.

‘Rest In Peace to a beautiful soul,’ one fan said, while another wrote, ‘Rest in peace.’

Said one fan: ‘So saddened to hear about the loss of you. 1st thing that came out my mouth, heart and mind was she was so funny, smart, loving and beautiful.

‘Like I can’t think of one time I said you was doing to much. I’ve always admired you and your spirit. If I’m going through it, I can only imagine what your loved ones are going through.’

Jacky Oh left Wild N Out in recent years and was establishing a lip gloss line titled the J Nova Collection.

A social media source claims she had gone for a ‘mommy makeover’ – which could be any combination of liposuction, tummy tuck or anything remotely similar as childbirth typically increases the weight and fat deposits on the female body.

DC Young Fly wife Jacky Oh last Instagram post was on May 19, when she shared an image of her kids sleeping.

She captioned the post: ‘When u get all ur kids to sleep at once … that right there boiiii … Tag a Mom #happiness #peace lol.’

That was presumably before her final trip with ended up being her last.

John Whitfield, (better known as DC Young Fly) is an American internet personality, comedian, actor, host, rapper, and singer-songwriter best known for his “roasting sessions” videos on Instagram and Vine, according to Fandom.
