Chloe Prince was found dead next to the infant on Monday, December 11th 2023 at around 11 am.

Chloe Prince was an Australian nurse from the city of Morley in Perth who was found dead with her three-month-old daughter in a mystifying case police are treating as a murder-suicide.

Chloe Prince, 39, worked at Midland’s St John of God Public Hospital in Morley.

She studied as a nurse in Kalgoorlie before she began her professional career.

Prince was tragically found dead on Monday, December 11th 2023 in her home along with her three-month-old baby.

A police spokesman said officers were called to the family’s home in Robinson Road, Morley, in Perth’s east, on Monday morning at around 11 am.

“Upon arrival, an adult female and an infant child were located deceased,” a police spokesman said.

“Major crime division detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the two deaths.”

Daily Mail Australia reports that Chloe Prince purchased the Robinson Road, Morley home for $422,000 in 2017.

She lived there with her partner, Andrew Standing, who discovered the gruesome scene.

Despite living there for six years, neighbours said the couple would mainly keep themselves.

Chloe Prince Morley was often seen coming home from night shifts in scrubs whilst her partner ‘appeared to be a night shift worker and ‘mostly sleeps in the day’.

“There is a man, woman and a child who live there, that’s all I’ve ever seen,” 77-year-old neighbour Peter Stanton told the West Australian.

“I didn’t see them outside very much at all and I take my dog out for a walk frequently.

“They weren’t the kind of people that were out in the garden or that sort of thing at all.

“I’m very surprised to hear what’s happened.”

“I feel for the whole family … it just doesn’t happen here,” Beth Tulloh, another neighbour, said.

Another neighbour, who did not want to be named, said the mother seemed like a “nice person”.

“I’ve seen the kid and the mum before and I’d say hello,” he said.

Chloe Prince Morley worked as a nurse at the St John of God Public Hospital.

The hospital’s CEO Paul Dyer offered a statement in reaction to the news.

“We have been made aware of the recent tragic death of one of our caregivers who had worked at the hospital as a nurse on our wards,” Mr Dyer said.

“We are very conscious of the sadness surrounding this incident and are taking the time today to speak with those with whom this caregiver worked closely.

“Both to advise them of this unfortunate news and to offer support in the form of access to peer support and counselling services.

“We will also be communicating with our broader caregiver community to ensure they are aware of the support services that we are able to offer.”

Chloe previously worked as a registered nurse at Armadale Kelmscott Memorial Hospital.

Police suspect the death to be a murder-suicide and are seeking for more information from the public.

“Anyone with information regarding this incident, or who saw or heard anything suspicious in the vicinity of Robinson Road this morning, is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online,” a police spokesperson said.
