Jonathan Vallejo, 38, has been identified as the man shot and killed in Schiller Park, Illinois on Friday night.
The shooting happened around 10:40 p.m. in the 9400 block of Irving Park Road in Sway Bar, Schiller Park, near O’Hare airport.
When officers arrived at the scene, they located a man who had been shot and performed life-saving measures.
Despite their efforts, the man was pronounced dead at Lutheran General Hospital.

Over the weekend, the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the deceased as Jonathan Vallejo, 38, of River Grove, Illinois.
Police continue to investigate the shooting.
