Jami Parker, 28, has been identified as a Leominster woman who shot her boyfriend, Jeffrey Carr in the head during an argument, killing him.
The incident occurred Wednesday at Parker’s home on Main Street at the intersection of Keystone Drive.
Police said they received a call from a woman requesting an ambulance for her boyfriend. When they arrived they found the man on the kitchen floor with a gunshot wound to the head and later pronounced dead at the scene.
Parker is being charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury and armed assault to murder.
She is due in Leominster District Court on Thursday.
