Who is Robert Poe? Siletz, Oregon Man Kills Mom Because He Believed She Was A Vampire

Robert Bruce Poe, 56, is a man from Siletz, Oregon who was arrested for killing his mom.

Poe told police upon his arrest that he believed his mom was a vampire who ‘poked’ him at night and caused him to wake up with blood on his sheets!

Lincoln County deputies responded to the 400 block of East Logsden Road just before 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday after they received a call from Robert Poe who confessed to ‘accidentally killing his mom’.

Officers met Poe with blood on his hands and clothing whilst holding his mother’s bloody purse.

The woman was found near a 2004 Gold Chrysler PT Cruiser that appeared to be stuck in gravel.

Poe had apparently fashioned a stake out of the broken end of a garden tool and stuck it in his mother’s throat!

When officials approached her body, they found her with a “large round stake which appeared to be the broken end of a garden tool protruding from her throat,” court records show.

He was arrested and faces charges of second-degree murder and unlawful use of a weapon.

Poe is being held at the Lincoln County Jail.
