Amala Ratna Zandile and Raman Dalithando Dlamini were born to American graphic designer of Jewish heritage, Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer and South African performer of Zulu heritage, Dumisani Dlamini.

Raman Dalithando Dlamini was born in 1993 and is currently 30 years old.

Doja Cat, the Grammy-winning singer and rapper, is reportedly a victim of physical and verbal abuse by her older brother, Raman Dalithando Dlamini, according to a court filing by their mother, Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer.

Sawyer filed for a temporary restraining order against Dlamini, 30, on January 12, 2024, in Los Angeles Superior Court, claiming that he has been violent and threatening to her, Doja Cat, and their 13-year-old nephew.

In the legal document, Sawyer alleges that Dlamini once knocked out Doja Cat’s teeth, gave her cuts and bruises, destroyed and stole her property, and verbally assaulted her in a “very degrading and demeaning manner”.
