Lori Vallow Daybell was born Lori Norene Cox on June 26, 1973 in Loma Linda, in San Bernardino county, California, to her parents Barry and Janis Cox, according to the wiki of the incident. Lori Daybell is currently 50 years old.

She grew up in a blended household and attended a small private school in her hometown. Daybell later graduated from a university with a bachelor’s degree, although the institution has yet to be made public.

She married five times and had three children, Colby Ryan, Tylee Ryan, and J.J. Vallow.

In 1992, at the age of 19, Lori married her high school boyfriend Nelson Yanes, but the marriage ended in divorce shortly afterwards.

In October 1995, Lori married William Lagioia when she was 22 years old. They had a son named Colby in 1996, before divorcing in 1998.

In 2001, Lori Vallow Daybell married Joseph Anthony Ryan Jr., who legally adopted Colby. The couple’s biological daughter, Tylee, was born in 2002 and they divorced in 2005.

In 2007, Lori’s brother, Alex Cox, attacked Ryan, claiming he had been abusive to Lori and the children. Cox was sentenced to jail for the incident. Ryan was later found dead in his apartment in 2018 from a heart attack. In February 2006, Lori Vallow Daybell married Leland Anthony Vallow, commonly going by the name Charles, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lori Vallow Daybell became interested in doomsday beliefs and met Chad Daybell, a self-published author of doomsday-themed books -Standing in Holy Places – in 2018.

Chad told Lori he had lived 31 different lives on different planets and categorized people as “light” or “dark,” based on their affiliation with Jesus Christ or Satan. Chad referred to Lori as an “eternal being” of 21 separate lives, five of which coincided with his own experiences on Earth. This belief system fascinated Lori, leading her to develop a strong attachment to Chad and his teachings.

The two developed a romantic attachment and allegedly conspired to murder Tammy Daybell, Chad’s wife. They were married two weeks after her death.

Their remains were found buried on Chad’s property in Idaho on June 9, 2020, after a monthslong search by authorities and family members.

In May 2023, Lori Vallow Daybel was convicted of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder in connection with the children’s deaths, as well as the death of Tammy Daybell, Chad’s former wife. Lori was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole on Monday, July 31st 2023.

Their remains were located in the backyard of Chad Daybell, who was their mother’s lover at the time of their death and had become her husband by the time their bodies were found. Tylee was last seen alive at Yellowstone National Park on September 8, 2019, while her younger adopted brother J. J. was last seen alive on September 22, 2019.

In November 2019, police questioned the children’s mother, Lori Vallow Daybell, about the children’s whereabouts and welfare. Lori and her husband, Chad Guy Daybell, claimed that J.J. was staying with family friend Melanie Gibb in Arizona, their previous residence before moving to Idaho in early September 2019. However, Gibb later denied this claim.

As police searched for J.J., they discovered that Tylee was also missing. Amid the disappearances was a string of suspicious deaths. Lori’s estranged fourth husband, Charles Vallow, was shot and killed in July 2019 by Lori’s brother, Alexander Cox, who claimed self-defense; Cox later died in December 2019 due to a blood clot.

In October 2019, Brandon Boudreaux, the then-estranged husband of Lori’s niece, was shot at from a vehicle registered to Charles Vallow. That same month, Tammy Daybell, Chad’s wife, was attacked in her driveway and died ten days later on October 19 under what was initially recorded as ‘natural causes’.

After Chad and Lori’s marriage, Tammy’s body was exhumed by law enforcement officials, revealing that she had been asphyxiated. On February 20, 2020, Lori was arrested in Kauai, Hawaii, and charged with desertion and non-support of her children. She was extradited to Idaho and transported there on March 5, 2020.

On June 9, 2020, police discovered the remains of Tylee and J.J. during a search at Chad’s home. Chad was arrested later that day on charges of destruction or concealment of evidence.

On May 25, 2021, Lori Vallow Daybell and Chad were charged with the first-degree murders of Tylee, J.J., and Tammy. On May 12, 2023, Lori was found guilty of all charges related to the killing of her children and on July 31, 2023, was sentenced to life in prison with no possibility of parole.

I have also had many communications with Tammy Daybell, who I consider to be my friend. She has also been able to visit me many times in dreams and visions. She has also been able to tell me that she is happy and that she is busy in heaven. She has also been able to tell me that she loves me and that she misses me. She has also been able to tell me that she understands what happened here and that she forgives me. She has also been able to tell me that she is proud of me for standing up for the truth and for not giving up on my faith in Jesus Christ.

Jesus knows me and Jesus understands me. I mourn with all of you who mourn my children and Tammy. Jesus Christ knows the truth of what happened here. Jesus Christ knows no one was murdered in this case. Accidental deaths happen, suicides happen, fatal side effects from medications happen. Lori Daybell husband, Chad Daybell is a 54-year-old man who is facing trial for the murders of his first wife, Tammy Daybell, and his stepchildren, Tylee Ryan and J.J. Vallow.

Chad Daybell is the fifth husband of Lori Vallow Daybell, who was convicted of the same crimes in May 2023. He was born on August 11th 1968 in Provo, Utah, making him 54 years old.

Lori Daybell husband Chad was a cemetery sexton and a self-published author of doomsday-themed books. He met Lori Vallow Daybell at a spiritual conference in Utah in 2018 and they became involved in a religious group that believed in the end of the world and the existence of “zombies” possessed by evil spirits.

They proceeded to murder Tammy Daybell, Tylee Ryan and J.J. Vallow as part of their doomsday beliefs and to collect life insurance money and social security benefits.

Chad Daybell has pleaded not guilty to all charges and Judge Steven Boyce, who also presided over Vallow Daybell’s trial, has set a trial date of April 1, 2024, for Chad Daybell’s trial. He could face the death penalty if convicted.

His charges include murder in the death of his first wife, Tammy Daybell, and in the deaths of his wife Lori Vallow Daybell’s children, 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 16-year-old Tylee Ryan.

He is also charged with conspiracy to commit murder in all three deaths. In the deaths of JJ and Tylee, that conspiracy charge also includes conspiracy to commit grand theft by deception.
