Christopher Hubbard is an Omaha, Nebraska man who died in a fiery car crash on Highway 75 near Dodge Street Monday night.
The Nebraska Department of Transportation reported a crash in the northbound lanes of I-480/Hwy 75 near Dodge Street that resulted in a car on fire just before 7:30 p.m.
OPD says a 2000 Ford Ranger drifted off the road, then crossed both lanes and went into the grass median before rolling twice and catching fire.
The male driver was ejected; he was not wearing a seatbelt.

The victim received CPR from citizens and medics at the scene before being transported to Nebraska Medicine where he died.
The crash even led to the on-ramp from Dodge Street to I-480 and Hwy 75 northbound being closed for a time.
Omaha Police early Tuesday identified the victim as Christopher Hubbard, 23, of Omaha, Nebraska.
OPD released a statement Tuesday reading: “OPD investigates fatal crash at Highway 75 and Dodge StreetMonday, March 11, 2024
“Omaha Police accident investigators are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at Highway 75 and Dodge Street Monday night.
“Officers responded to the scene at 7:28 p.m. The investigation revealed a northbound 2000 Ford Ranger drifted off the roadway to the right and then crossed back across both northbound lanes.
“The Ford entered the grass media and rolled multiple times, ejecting the unrestrained driver. The Ford came to a rest and became engulfed in fire.

“Citizens and an OPD officer performed CPR on the driver before OFD medics arrived and transported him to the Nebraska Medical Center.
“The driver, Christopher Hubbard, 23, died at the hospital.
“The investigation is ongoing,”
