Who was Chandrakanth? Pavithra Jayaram’s Husband Allegedly Commits Suicide Days After her Death

Indian serial actor Chandrakanth, best known for working in the daily soap opera Telugu, has allegedly committed suicide.

Chandrakanth is reported to have taken his own life at his residence in Alkapur in Telangana on Friday.

He allegedly did so out of depression after his wife, famous actress Pavithra Jayaram, died in a car accident a few days ago.

In recent days, the depressed actor shared one of the last photos he took with his wife with an emotional caption reading: “Not able to digest to left me alone…My Pavi is no more (cry and pray emojis) pls ra come back plsss. (This is the last picture I took with you, I’m unable to digest you left me alone. Please call out for me once again. My Pavi is no more, please come back).”

Chandrakanth’s alleged suicide was confirmed by his father to the police, according to Hindustan Times.

His wife, Jayaram tragically passed away in a road accident on May 12 in Hyderabad.

According to an IANS report, her car was involved in a collision with a bus.

The actress, known for her role in ‘Tilottama’, was accompanied by her sister Apeksha, co-star Chandrakanth, and chauffeur Srikant at the time of the accident.
