Who was Cali Nate? Street Outlaws Drag Racer Dies In Horrifying Wreck

Street Outlaws Drag Racer Cali Nate has died in a horrifying wreck, multiple outlets have confirmed.

Nate reportedly was involved in a car crash in Texas that lead to his death.

According to his girlfriend Courtney Marie Paulshock, Nate “wrecked the Z at Eagle Pass” which ended up taking his life.

She wrote: “Nate wrecked the Z at Eagle Pass. Waylon and Garrett stayed with him every moment. They got him to the hospital and they just couldn’t save him. Those are all of the details I’m giving,”

She paid tribute to him in another post, writing: “I will love you until the end of time,”

In another post, she reminisced about their entire life, revealing how fate had just shattered their best-laid plans.

“On one hand I am shattered.. I’m in shock.. I can feel my heart breaking.. we had plans, we had a full race schedule, we had JUST settled into our new life.. Nate was my person, my soul mate, my world.. I didn’t have enough time.,” Paulshock wrote.

“But on the other hand, no amount of time would have been long enough. And I was truly BLESSED to know the kind of love that Nathan gave me and showed me on a daily basis.

“Anyone that was ever around us knows that we loved out LOUD. We couldn’t stay off of each other, we joked, we laughed, we clicked in a way that I know I never will with anyone else. He healed me. I don’t know how I will do this without him.. frankly I don’t want to.. but I know he’d be upset if I didn’t try,” she said.

Drag Coverage also responded to news of Nate’s passing with a post on Facebook: “DragCoverage is saddened to hear about the passing of Cali Nate and we send our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and his life partner Courtney Paulshock.

“He made a huge impact in the world of Drag Racing and was a fierce competitor. #godspeed”

Mid America Dragway also paid tribute: “We extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Cali Nate. We send our thoughts and prayers to you in this time of healing,”

Cali Nate appeared on Street Outlaws for several episodes and was also part of the California team that competed in the Street Outlaws Fastest in America Franchise.

BosstedGT, who competed with Nate, also shared tribute.

He wrote on Facebook: “Rest in peace Cali Nate. It was an absolute honor to race alongside you all these years. You were always there for advice or to lend a helping hand.

“One memory that sticks out is the time we were in my shop helping Jason Rank work on his ride. The sh*t talking was relentless but was all in good fun. You were a legend in the street game man. See you on the other side my brother,”

Street Outlaws is an American reality television seriess that premiered on Discovery Channel on June 10, 2013.

The show has 15 seasons in total.

Cali Nate is the second Street Outlaws racer to die in the past two years from drag racing, following the death of Ryan Fellows in Las Vegas during the filming of Fastest in America.
