Christine King Farris, matriarch of the King family, revealed Dexter called her to inform her he was tying the knot to the love of his life.

He said, “Aunt Chris, I’ve finally taken the step. Leah and I are married,’ ” Christine Farris recalled.

His oldest sister, and first born of MLK Jr. and Coretta, died at 51-years-old on May 15, 2007 – one year after their mother passed.
