Alina Page and Brian Page Md Ortho had been married for almost 16 years when she sadly died.

Authorities are not yet clear if she jumped or if something untoward happened, but the New York Post reports Brian Page had an argument with his wife Alina just before she plunged to her death – although he denies being home at the time.

So who is Brian Page Md Ortho?

He is currnetly an Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn New York, a job he’s been in since July 2023.

He also works at the Jacobi Medical Center as an orthopaedic surgeon, according to his LinkedIn page.

Orthopaedic surgeons diagnose and treat conditions of the muscles, bones and joints. 

They often treat sports injuries, degenerative diseases, tumors, infections and birth defects. They also perform joint repair and replacement surgeries.

Dr. Brian Page (Md Ortho) is an orthopaedic trauma and limb reconstruction surgeon at Maimonides Medical Center and Maimonides Midwood Community Hospital. 

He received a B.S in Chemistry at the University of California, San Diego graduating cum laude and graduated medical school with distinction from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. 

Dr. Page completed his residency at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – the largest hospital system in Texas – and completed two fellowships at the prestigious Hospital for Special Surgery. 

He completed his first fellowship in Orthopaedic Traumatology, training under Dr. David Helfet and Dr. William Ricci. 

During his traumatology fellowship he also worked at three busy level one trauma centers – Westchester Medical Center, Jacobi Medical Center, and New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell. 

He then completed a second fellowship in Limb Lengthening and Complex Reconstruction under Dr. S. Robert Rozbruch and Dr. Austin Fragomen. 

In the former, he was expertly trained in all areas of fracture care of the appendicular skeleton and pelvis/acetabulum. 

In the latter, he learned how to assess and treat post-operative and congenital deformity mastering numerous treatment modalities including hexapod circular fixation, osteotomies, and osseointegration.

Dr. Page is actively involved in advancing the field of orthopaedics in research including many multicenter studies and numerous ongoing research projects. 

He is also the awardee of several research grants.

Additionally, he has multiple book chapters, web-based publications, and instructional technique videos. He is actively involved in the Orthopaedic Trauma Association (OTA), AO North America (AONA), Limb Lengthening and Reconstruction Society (LLRS), the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), and the American Orthopaedic Association (AOA) including the The American Orthopaedic Association’s Emerging Leaders Program (AOA-ELP).

Dr. Brian Page Md Ortho is actively involved in resident and medical student education, serving as faculty for the Orthopaedic Surgery residency program at Maimonides.

Alina Page is a 35-year-old New York woman who died after falling from the roof of the Brittany, a luxury Upper East Side apartment building.

NY Post reported Thursday, a woman was discovered around 6:45 p.m. outside The Brittany with injuries consistent from a fall.

Her injuries were indicative of a fall from an “elevated surface,” police said.

She was rushed to the NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell in critical condition, but later succumbed to her injuries.

Alina Page was married to Brian Page Md Ortho and he became a talking point in the media after the Post again reported that he had gotten into a heated argument with his wife just before she jumped.

“The woman who plunged from a luxury Upper East Side apartment building Thursday had a blowout fight with her spouse just moments before she took the fatal leap, according to sources — but the “devastated” husband said “he wasn’t even home.” the Post reported.

“Alina Page jumped from the roof on the 36th story of The Brittany after her spouse confronted her about her drinking habits, law enforcement sources told The Post,” the report added.

“Her husband, Brian Page, said he wasn’t there when the tragedy unfolded but declined to answer questions about whether there was a fight,”

The Post quoted Brian Page Md Ortho as saying: “She was the love of my life, my soulmate…I am devastated.”

The Post revealed that Alina is originally from Russia and ‘frequently posted image to Facebook of herself smiling ear-to-ear with her two young children,’

Alina Page’s death reportedly came just 11 days before the couple celebrate their 16th wedding anniversary!

“Police haven’t officially labeled Page’s plunge as a suicide, but residents told The Post that the building has extraordinary safety measures in place to prevent an accidental fall,” the Post said, indicating other motives might be in play.

“The railing is really tall … I would say at least 4 feet,” one renter said about the roof. 

“[The windows] don’t open. They crack. All of them have child safety. I have small cats so they wouldn’t be able to fit through. So she wouldn’t.

“I’m just glad I didn’t see it. It’s a very family-friendly building.”

She had a Facebook page where she reportedly shared photos about her family life, but that appears to have been taken down from the web.

This is just another remindeer that despite a lot of public displays of happinness, one never knows what is happening in the private life of a person.

By all accounts Alina Page and Brian Page Md Ortho had a spectacular life, living it up in an expensive NYC high rise apartment, but behind the scenes no one knows what else was going on.

This tells us that life can often be more complicated than what is publicly seen and we must all learn to not take things at face value.

The Brittany apartments on 1775 York Avenue are a suite of luxury apartments which the post claim are going for as much as $7,500.

It is just a few blocks from Gracie Mansion and is reportedly known for its “incredible, panoramic water views” of the East and Harlem rivers.
