Zachary Childs has been arrested and charged with murder after shooting Stephanie dead.

Stephanie was found with a single gunshot wound to her head early Sunday by authorities who were called to the couple’s Spring Leigh Court apartment.

Zach attempted to escape but was found by police in a nearby location.

Who was Stephanie Childs Ballwin Mo?

Stephanie Childs, the victim of a domestic violence shooting, was a Ballwin, Missouri woman, residing in the St Louis area of the United States of America.

Childs was shot dead by her husband in a domestic violence incident on Sunday, March 18th, 2024.

The Ballwin Police Department was called to a residence in the 100 block of Spring Leigh Court just before 1 a.m. Sunday.

Upon arrival, they found a woman suffering from a single gunshot wound to her head.

Ballwin police officers treated the woman for her injuries until firefighters and paramedics from Metro West Fire Protection District arrived at the scene.

Metro-West Fire Protection District rushed the woman to St Louis area hospital, where she later died.

Whilst authorities are keeping mum about the identity of the victim, unofficial sources have identified her as Stephanie Childs.

Stephanie Childs according to a LinkedIn account in her name was a University of Texas grad with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design.

She described herself as a passionate apparel designer with over a decade of experience in her field.

According to online records, Zachary and Stephanie Childs own the home where the shooting occurred and have one child together.

They moved to Ballwin from Plano, Texas, in October 2021 and have been married for 13 years.

The couple was involved in a very acrimonious divorce that was filed in December and is still ongoing, with a bone of contention surrounding custody of their one child.

In February, a judge signed off on a protection order that required Zachary Childs to “not commit or threaten to commit domestic violence, stalking, molesting, (and) s*xual assault” against Stephanie Childs.

He was ordered to stay at least 500 feet away from her and only communicate through the court’s communication program, which is often used to maintain a record of interaction between parents in custody cases.

Zachary Childs, who attempted to escape after her murder, was located by police around 11:45 a.m. Sunday, wandering in a nearby creek.

Officers were able to arrest Childs without incident.

The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged Childs with first-degree murder, armed criminal action, and first-degree burglary. Childs remains jailed without bond.

Keith Ashby, a Boston area r*pist, was found to have killed his partner and then himself in a murder-suicide.

In a chilling discovery, the lifeless bodies of Aanya Vinay and Keith Ashby were found in a room on the 13th floor of the Moxy Boston Downtown hotel.

The investigation, led by Boston police homicide detectives and the Suffolk District Attorney’s Office, unveiled the deaths as a murder-suicide.

Boston police determined that the man, identified as Keith Ashby, shot and killed Aanya Vinay before taking his own life.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled Vinay’s death as a homicide and Ashby’s as a suicide.

Keith Ashby is reportedly a convicted Boston r*pist.

Back in 2007, Ashby pleaded guilty to three counts of aggravated r*pe, two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and single counts of kidnapping and unlawful possession of a machine gun stemming from a 2006 attack.

Ashby repeatedly r*ped and brutalized his ex-girlfriend and was sentenced to 15 years in state prison.

The Suffolk DA’s Office on Thursday confirmed that Ashby was the same man in the murder-suicide at the Moxy Boston Hotel.

A statement from the Boston PD read: “At about 12:21 PM, on Monday, February 26, 2024, officers assigned to District A-1 (Downtown) responded to 240 Tremont Street for a death investigation.

“On arrival, officers located two people suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were pronounced deceased at the scene. The victim has since been identified as Aanya Vinay, 25, of Brookline.

“The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled her death a homicide. Further investigation revealed Keith Ashby, 43, of Boston, shot and killed Aanya Vinay, then killed himself, and his death has been ruled a suicide.
