Joshua Boucher, 43, has been arrested in connection with the Morrow County shooting after a manhunt involving multiple law enforcement agencies on Monday.

The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office was searching for a suspect, identified as Joshua Boucher, after he sped away from the scene of a shooting that happened in the 6700 block of State Route 95.

Morrow County deputies said after the shooting, Boucher fled in a white sedan.

The search involved law enforcement in several counties including the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office and the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, among others.

In a post on Facebook Monday, the Morrow County Sheriff’s office announced: “Shooting investigation…We are currently investigating a shooting that occurred in the 6700 block of State Route 95.

“We are attempting to locate Joshua Boucher (43), who was seen leaving the scene east towards Chesterville in a white sedan, possibly a Toyota.

“Joshua is a white male 6’1″, 185 pounds, brown hair, and hazel eyes. Joshua should be considered armed and dangerous, do not approach, call 911,”

In a post on Facebook, the page Ashland County Pictures also shared footage of the Knox County Sheriff’s Office and other agencies looking for the homicide suspect Joshua Boucher in Loudonville, Ohio.

Boucher was eventually captured with an update from the Morrow County Sheriff’s office reading: “Joshua Boucher has been taken into custody in Holmes County,”

Further information on the shooting is set to be released in due time.

In a recent shooting incident reported here on Bombshell Crimes, Ryan Brown, 17 years old in Aurora, Mo, was arrested for the murder of 19-year-old Garron McGlothlin.

A shooting that occurred Friday night in Aurora left one person dead and a suspect on the run.

Aurora PD were called to White Park in Aurora in reference to a shooting around 9 p.m. Friday.

On scene, they found a victim suffering a gunshot wound McGlothlin and Brown who had taken to his heels.

Aurora Police released a press statement late Friday revealing they were searching for a teenage Ryan Brown as the suspect for the shooting of Garron McGlothlin.

The statement redacted Ryan Brown’s name after he was captured.

The presser read: “On 03-29-2024 at approximately 9:06pm, AMPD was dispatched to White Park in Aurora in reference to a shooting.

“Upon arrival, Officers found Garron McGlothlin (19) suffering from a gunshot wound.

“Medical crews arrived and transported him to a Springfield hospital with life threatening injuries. As of the time of this release, McGlothlin remains in critical condition.

“AMPD quickly identified the suspect as 17 year old (redacted) of Aurora. (Redacted) was seen running from White Park immediately following the shooting by numerous witnesses.

“Multiple law enforcement agencies are currently searching for (redacted). He should be considered armed and dangerous.

“If you see him or know his whereabouts, you are asked to call 911 immediately and do not approach or contact him.

“This case is under investigation and the search for (redacted) continues. We will update the community with details as they are available.

“Juvenile suspects are not typically identified by AMPD in press releases. However, this is a matter of public safety and (redacted) presents a substantial risk to the public until he is apprehended. Please see photos (redacted) of him attached to this post,”

Morrow County is a county located in the central portion of the U.S. state of Ohio. As of the 2020 census, the population was 34,950.

Its county seat is Mount Gilead.

The county was organized in 1848 from parts of four neighboring counties and named for Jeremiah Morrow who was the Governor of Ohio from 1822 to 1826.

Shawnee people used the area for hunting purposes before white settlers arrived in the early 19th century.

Morrow County is included in the Columbus, OH Metropolitan Statistical Area.

As of the 2010 United States Census, there were 34,827 people, 12,855 households, and 9,578 families living in the county.

The racial makeup of the county was 97.7% white, 0.3% Asian, 0.1% American Indian, 0.2% from other races, and 1.3% from two or more races.

Those of Hispanic or Latino origin made up 1.1% of the population.

In terms of ancestry, 30.8% were German, 16.1% were American, 14.4% were Irish, and 13.3% were English.
