Rose Montoya birth name or real name is not known but her legal name is Rosalynne Montoya. She was born on October 10th 1995 in a small farm town in Idaho known as Burley. Rose Montoya is 27 years going on 28.

Her mother Kathryn, 57, is a speech therapist and founder of the Believers Deaf Ministry. Her father, Raymond, 60, pastors at that church.
Rose’s siblings include Joshua, 25, who goes by ‘Prince Joshua’ – and also regularly posts X-rated content on his social media – as well as three sisters, Rachael, 34, Natalie, 31, and Emily, 19 – who is adopted and deaf.
Rose started singing and performing in the church at a very early age due to her father being a worship pastor.
At 4 years old Rose voiced on camera that she is a girl and her name is Queen Rose. Although she was only playing make-believe at the time, the memory would stick with her forever and play a large role in her later decision to transition.
Rose continued to perform in band, theatre, and choir all throughout her schooling. In 10th grade, she came out as being attracted to men to her friends and was outed to her family.
As one can imagine, coming out in such a fashion to folks in a small Idaho farm town was challenging to Rose Montoya but she was eventually accepted.
Rose Montoya attended Seattle University and graduated June 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Film Studies with honors at 19 years old.
In University, Rose directed The Normal Heart by Larry Kramer, wrote screenplays, acted in student films, and produced an unreleased short film she wrote, directed, and starred in.
During her time at Seattle University, Rose Montoya started performing in drag which led her to come out as trans in 2015. She also started gender-affirming hormone therapy and legally changed her name to Rosalynne Montoya the same year.
After accepting the femininity in herself, it allowed her to be attracted to it in others. She came out as bi in 2016. Rose Montoya uses the pronouns she/her/hers and they/them/their/theirs after coming out as non-binary in 2019.
As an actress, been on film sets with TomboyX, Yandy, Folx Health, LA Network’s The Q Agenda, and was most recently an extra in Agent of Change alongside Emmy-nominated actor Rain Valdez, and Michael D. Cohen, directed by Jett Garrison and created by Shaan Dasani.

The White House invited thousands of LGBT Americans and their allies to a Pride Month concert on the South Lawn Saturday, which included trans activist Rose Montoya.
Rose Montoya went viral at the event when she unhooked the top of her dress and grabbed her chest on the South Lawn as someone shouted, ‘are we topless at the White House?’
The move went viral on social media and the White house was forced to ban trans activist Rose Montoya.
“This behavior is inappropriate and disrespectful for any event at the White House. It is not reflective of the event we hosted to celebrate LGBTQI+ families or the other hundreds of guests who were in attendance. Individuals in the video will not be invited to future events,” a White House spokesperson said in a statement.

Rose wasn’t bothered in the slightest, posting an Instagram montage of the day on Monday.
In the montage, she was seen dancing to the DJ and striking poses in front of landmarks such as the Washington monument and the Truman balcony of the White House. She is also seen meeting Jill Biden, and trying to take a selfie with the president – with the camera mistakenly on video, rather than photo.
During her encounter with President Biden, she also said: ‘Trans rights are human rights.’
She captioned the video: ‘I had the honor of attending White House Pride, the largest one in history where the Pride flag flew for the first time. ‘This is trans joy. We’re here at the White House unapologetically trans, queer, and brown.’

Exposing your breasts at this event did not help the cause. It took focus from what this event was meant to be and focused it right on to you.

As part of the LGBTQI+ community, I am saddened that this only added fuel for the Conservatives to spread the lies that we are nothing more than sexual deviants. It’s all over Twitter. You just didn’t think that through. I know you did not mean to disrespect the White House, our president, and our community. There are times that proper decorum is needed, especially for events like this. I have nothing but love for you. Thank you for all that you do for the community. ❤️”

The video, which has been viewed over 19 million times, showed her experience flying as a trans person.
She denounced airport checks as insensitive and inappropriate after the full-body scanner detected an ‘anomaly’ between her legs.
‘Can we talk about how horrible it is to travel while being transgender sometimes? I always have immense anxiety leading up to going through security,” Rose Montoya said in her viral tiktok.
“And this means that I totally recognize the privilege of having all of my documents correct. So, the gender marker on my license, for example, says female. But, going through the scanner, there’s a male scanner and a female scanner in the TSA checkpoint.”
