Who was Olivia Flores? 18-year-old Killed in Accident 3 weeks Before Graduation

Olivia Flores was an 18-year-old Owatonna High School student who tragically lost her life in an accident on Saturday night.

A crash occurred at the intersection of Memorial Parkway Southwest and 12th Street Southwest, just north of Apache Mall at 5:45 p.m. Saturday.

Seven people were injured with one fatality, Olivia Flores, who was three weeks away from graduating High School.

Flores was seriously injured in the crash and sent to hospital where she was placed on life support.

Her family announced her death in a statement.

“Olivia Flores passed away at 2:57 this afternoon. Her family was by her side as they turned off her life support,” aunt Tammy Olseon Harber said.

“She was loved and will be missed by all of us,” her aunt said.

Olivia’s distraught father, Carlos Flores also said: “She was so excited to graduate from Owatonna High School on June 7th. She was the captain of the football cheer and basketball cheer teams and involved in young life. She is loved by so many,” he said.
