Who was Syncere Friends? Dover, Delaware Man Shot and Killed by Sadique Ingram

Syncere Friends, 25, is a Dover, Delaware man who was shot and killed by a suspect identified as Sadique Ingram.

Ingram, 23, has been charged with murder following a shooting that occurred on West Loockerman Street early Sunday morning.

Dover Police Department was called for a shooting in the area of Irish Mike’s, where two subjects had been shot – Friends and a yet to identified female.

Dover PD officers located the victims, Syncere Friends, 25, of Dover, who had sustained a gun shot wound to his chest, and a 30-year-old female of Magnolia, who had sustained a gunshot wound to her lower body.

Both victims were transported to Bayheath Kent Campus for treatment but sadly, Friends died as a result of his injuries while at the hospital.

Police investigations led to the identification of Sadique Ingram as the person responsible for the shooting.

Ingram was taken into custody during a traffic stop in Milford, Delaware late Sunday morning and was transported to Dover Police Department where he was processed and arraigned.

The 23-year-old faces charges including First Degree Murder, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, First Degree Assault, and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony.

Bond has been set at $1,000,000.
