Gloria Cascio, 53, of Albion, was the sole fatality of a multi-vehicle crash on the Maine Turnpike on Friday, April 26th, 2024.
The crash occurred just after 8:30 a.m. Friday when a Toyota Prius driven by a 23-year-old from Brighton, Massachusetts, Oguzhan Cildir, struck a minivan and a pickup truck near Exit 20 in Wells.
The truck, being driven by Albion, rolled over several times, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her husband Vincent Cascio, 60, who was in the passenger seat, sustained serious injuries and was LifeFlighted to Maine Medical Center.
The driver of the minivan, Tony Perrault, 51, and another involved vehicle, a gray Chevy Impala, were not seriously injured.
The driver of the Prius, Cildir, was taken to Maine Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
An investigation is currently ongoing with no arrests made, so far.
