Who Was Emali Sallee? 19-Year Old Mother Killed by Boyfriend Tyson Peters in Minot Murder-Suicide

19-year-old Emali Sallee and 20-year-old Tyson Peters have been identified as the couple found dead in an apparent murder-suicide in a home in Minot, Maine.

The Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office was called for a welfare check at 425 Millett Road in Minot on Thursday.

When they got to the apartment just after 6 a.m., they found a pair of dead bodies.

The duo were identified as Emali Sallee of Lewiston and Tyson Peters of Minot.

Autopsies confirmed the deaths were a murder-suicide.

Sallee’s death was ruled a homicide whilst Peters died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

A post from one Brooklyn Hamilton on Facebook moruned the late Sallee.

“i’m at such a loss for words right now. Emali Sallee you were the most kind hearted soul out there. We worked together made so many connections with each other. I’m glad i got to be friends with you for the time i did. you will be forever in my heart. Love u Emali,” Brooklyn wrote.

From her Facebook page, which was linked to by Hamilton, Emali Sallee said she was a mother to one child, Elianna Mae.

Authorities said she was in a relationship with Peters when he killed her and himself.

It’s not clear if he was the father of her daughter or not.
