Leaves Behind a Wife and Young Child - All About Deceased Sacramento PD Officer Daniel Bartlett

Daniel Bartlett was a Sacramento PD officer who was found dead early Thursday in Rocklin.

Just after 6 am, The Rocklin Police Department responded to the intersection of University Ave and Larkspur Drive regarding an unresponsive male lying in the roadway and found that the man had passed.

The man was later identified by SAC PD as Bartlett, 30, a 4-year veteran of the force.

Daniel has served with the Sacramento Police Department for over four years and leaves behind a wife and child.

There is no foul play suspected in his death.

Said Sacramento PD Chief Lester: “It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of one of our own, Officer Daniel Bartlett. This loss has deeply saddened our entire organization. We extend our deepest condolences to Daniel’s family, friends, and teammates during this incredibly difficult time.

“Daniel will always be remembered for his dedication, service, and commitment to the Sacramento Police Department. Officer Daniel Bartlett had over four years of service with the Sacramento Police Department and was currently assigned to the South Patrol,”

Chief Lester added: “He was 30 years old and leaves behind a wife and a young child. “Daniel was a kind individual, friend, and officer who exemplified the values of this organization,”

“His passing was unexpected and an extremely tragic loss to our department, community, and family. My sincere and deepest condolences go out to the Bartlett family, friends, and teammates during this difficult time,”
