Oscar Garcia, 20, and Diego Lopez, 18, have been identified as the two deceased victims of a horrific Sunday night crash in Oak Lawn.
The 2-vehicle crash occurred near the intersection of 87th Street and Cicero Avenue when a silver sedan traveling at speeds up to 100 mph and seen weaving in and out of traffic lost control.
The out-of-control vehicle slammed into a pickup truck in the northbound lane of Cicero.
The driver of the silver sedan and rear seat passenger – Valdez and Garcia – were both ejected from the car which was split into two by the impact.
Hometown police started life-saving measures by applying chest compressions, but the two men did not survive their injuries and were pronounced deceased at the hospital.
The driver of the pickup truck and a third passenger in the silver sedan were also transported to Christ Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
