The South African publication Sunday World accused Robert Marawa of being Thando Thabethe boyfriend. The publication said the duo has been spending a lot of time together. They were said to have also been going on dinner dates with other friends. To add, they were reportedly spotted holding hands and looking very romantic.
Sunday World reported that they had seen pictures to confirm that Marawa and Thabethe had indeed held hands.
Per the publication, they have been dating off the grid for a while now.
Previously, Thando Thabethe was linked to former Generations actor Lunga Shabalala. They dated for two good years but broke things off in 2021 over an alleged affair.
Interestingly, despite rumours, Robert Marawa recently came out to debunk being the one Thando Thabethe is dating.
Contacted by Briefly South Africa for a comment on whether he was in a relationship with the radio personality Thabethe, he was quoted as saying, “I don’t know what you are talking about.”
For his part, Marawa is alleged to have previously dated Durban Gen actress Nelisiwe Sibiya in 2022. The two had a large age gap with reports that Sibiya was four years old when Marawa was already a household name in South Africa.

Thando Thabethe is a South African actress and disc jockey (DJ), popular for hosting her own radio show, the Thabooty Drive.
She was born on 18th June 1990 in Johannesburg in South Africa’s Gauteng province. Thando Thabethe is 32 years of age.
The radio personality grew up in a family of five with her parents and two siblings, Sanele and Sibusiso. Unfortunately, her father died when she was only 13 years old in grade 8. Thando therefore spent most of her teenage years living alone with her mother.d
She started her early education at Mondeor High School in Johannesburg. After completing her secondary school education, Thando proceeded to study at the University of Johannesburg, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom.) Accounting degree in 2011.
Thabethe started showing off her talents at an early age as she took part in theatre productions during her teenage years before getting her first TV role when she was just 14 years old, a year after her father’s death.
She also took part in theatre productions at UJ Arts Centre whilst in the university and worked at UJFM, a community radio station based at the University of Johannesburg, starting as newsreader and later as a radio DJ.
Her career kicked off properly after landing a job with UJFM in 2008. She then moved to the popular youth radio station YFM in 2011 whilst she was in her final year of studies.
Her film career kicked off when she landed the lead role of Thando Nkosi in the sitcom My Perfect Family. The show went on to air for 3 seasons.
She later joined 5FM in 2013 on The Roger Goode Show.
Thando landed another masssive television role when she played the role of Nolwazi Buzo on Generations:The Legacy, a South African soap opera, from 2014 to 2017
One of her most popular jobs was as host of the Thabooty Drive, which she started after joining 5Fm in 2016.
Hosting alongside Msizi James, the presenters of the show were always so full of energy and were thus dubbed the dynamic duo. She left the role in March 2020 citing editorial differences.
Thabethe had started a new show around that time, playing Linda Ndlovu in Housewives. She had a dispute with 5Fm over receiving time off to shoot as well as a pay raise.
“We had to make a very difficult decision, something we’ve had to ponder over for many, many months. Basically, I’ve tendered my resignation at 5FM. And the idea is to focus on the things that I want to do,” she told Channels 24 after her exit.
Thando Thabethe’s next move was to host her own television talk show Thando Bares All on TLC with the first episode being aired on 2 June 2018.
She joined 947 after her 5Fm exit, taking over the drive time slot at 3 pm from DJ Fresh.
In 2014, Thabethe was appointed as a Nivea brand ambassador, making her the first African brand ambassador is for the German body-care brand.
In 2019, she was nominated for Best TV Host and Best Talk Show for Thando Bares All, subsequently winning the award.
Thando Thabethe never married but has had boyfriends and a fiance. She was engaged to businessman Frans Mashao in 2017. The couple met in 2013 while attending a media event and later hitched up. Their romance died in 2018.

The actress revealed her father committed suicide in a post on social media. Her brother, Sibusiso Thabethe was also shot dead in a robbery in 2015.

Social media went wild recently after new photos emerged of Thando Thabethe seemingly pregnant and expecting a child with rumoured boyfriend Robert Marawa.
On social media, there was an image from a paternity shoot which was circulated. In the picture in question, the pregnant expecting mom looked exactly like Thando Thabethe.
However, a little digging quickly clears things up as the popular DJ isn’t the one expecting but her lookalike, a content creator known as Neontle who was behind the images and was the expecting mom.
For the avoidance of all doubt, Thando Thabethe also shared a photo tagged Monday to show she is completely not pregnant for any imaginary boyfriend.
