Nigerian Arrested For Drug Trafficking In Kerala, India – Video

A Nigerian man, Charles Diffodile, was arrested Sunday, February 5th 2023 in Kozhikode, Kerala, India, for trafficking drugs.

Charles Diffodile was trafficking drugs in the Kerala area for various reasons and was arrested following a police investigation.

He was out on bail on a previous narcotics case and had gone right back to his profession.

Diffodile, who was said to be trafficking drugs from Bengaluru to Kerala, was arrested with 55 grams of MDMA (Methylenedioxymethamphetamine) on his person.

Kozhikode Police said in a statement that the Nigerian was arrested for trafficking drugs to various areas in Kerala in India. A police investigation into a separate case led them to the suspect.

He was distributing narcotics to many areas inside Kerala. Police were investigating a drug case which led to the arrest of Charles from Bengaluru, Karnataka. He was on bail after another narcotic case,” Times of India quoted the police as saying.

In a video shared by Times of India, the Nigerian was handcuffed in the midst of many policemen, as the police chief spoke to journalists.

“Kozhikode police arrested a Nigerian citizen for trafficking drugs to Kerala from Bengaluru and seized 55 grams of MDMA. The police said that the man named Charles Diffodile was trafficking banned drugs to Kerala from Bengaluru. They seized 55 grams of MDMA,” Times of India wrote.

“He was distributing narcotics for various reasons in Kerala, police added. Police were investigating a case which gave them the lead to arrest Charles from Bengaluru, Karnataka,” the site added.

According to Wikipedia, MDMA’s full name is “3,4-Methyl​enedioxy​methamphetamine”.

The drug is “commonly seen in tablet form (ecstasy) and crystal form (molly or mandy). It is a potent empathogen–entactogen with stimulant properties primarily used for recreational purposes.

“The desired effects include altered sensations, increased energy, empathy, and pleasure.[16][17] When taken by mouth, effects begin in 30 to 45 minutes and last 3 to 6 hours,”
