Nicki Minaj Called Me To Complain After Wizkid FC Attacked Her For Appearing On My Song - Davido

Nigerian music superstar, Davido, has revealed he received a call from Nicki Minaj to complain about bitter attacks from rival fans due to her appearance on his song.

Davido and Nicki appeared together on Davido’s 2020 Album ‘A Better Time’ with the single, Holy Ground.

In a recent podcast appearance, Davido reveals that fans of rival artists such as Wizkid weren’t happy about the collaboration and made their views known!

According to him, he received calls from American artists Nicki Minaj and Lil Baby complaining about receiving DMs from angry rival fans!!!!

His comments have drawn reactions from sceptical Nigerians.

“The davido Dey lie ehh nicki get ur time 😂,” one fan wrote.

Another said: “He to Dey lie 😂Nicky call u Bawo 😂,”

A third said: “This guy Dey lie!!! Rival fan Dey call another artiste cause of collaboration??? Ha ba which kind rubbish na why that album nor go last for chart. Very soon e go go down. Only you Dey talk this one Dey talk that one, mr talkative.,”

However, some also stood behind Davido.
