Nigerians are still not over Wizkid losing the Grammys and have descended on the song that beat Essence to the Global Music Performance Grammy.

Wizkid’s Essence lost the category to the song Mohabbat by Pakistani vocalist Arooj Aftab.

Nigerians have listened to the song and declared it trash and not worthy to win a Grammy ahead of Essence.

Angry fans descended on social media to decry the injustice Wizkid suffered at the Grammys.

One fan shared a snippet of the song and angrily lashed out at the Recording Academy.

“Wahala, how this song take win over Essence abeg #justiceforWizkid,” he wrote.

Other fans agreed, with some declaring the song as a tribe song or burial song.

Arooj Aftab is a Pakistani vocalist who released the single Mohabbat.
