A Nigerian drug dealer, Ojengwa Emmanuel Osondu, has been arrested carrying five grams of cocaine in India on Wednesday, January 25th 2023.
Osondu, a resident of Mumbai, was arrested by the officers of the Hyderabad Narcotic Enforcement Wing (HNEW) and Bahadurpura police while he was selling a cocaine sample to city-based drug peddler Level Arjun in Bahadurpura.
Police acted after receiving a tip-off. HNEW officers along with the Bahadurpura police arrested him and seized the cocaine he had come to sell to some customers.
Police say the Nigerian came to India in 2016 on a student visa and has been residing in Mumbai since. He was previously
arrested by the Goregaon police in December 2020 in an NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act case.

Aside from the drugs on him, police seized his mobile phone. He was produced before the court and remanded.
