Gistlover Calls Out Fraudster After Scamming His Followers Over N5.2m

Controversial Nigerian blogger Gistlover has called out a Nigerian gentleman after he managed to scam the blogger’s followers out of over N5m in his name.

The gentleman in question reportedly claimed to be affiliated with Gistlover and promised to help some of the blogger’s followers travel abroad.

He took money from them and allegedly defrauded them.

He also started a WhatsApp group named G-Nation which he charged N100,000 for people to join to receive his help to japa. 52 people joined, netting him a cool N5.2m.

An angry Gistlover exposed the scammer after news of his scam came to his attention.

In a post, the blogger revealed the gentleman once pledged to help a follower of his who was scammed and hence he tagged him in gratitude and then he used that acknowledgement from Gistlover to dupe others.

“You all remembered @groschenpieces cried to our headquarters that she was duped of 50million and we all rally round her to comfort her, I posted that people should please go to her page and buy at least one item to support her from gaining her ground back, not long after I posted her, a random man entered her dm that he is willing to pay for at least 100 people to shop free of charge in groschen shop,

“The man also reached out to me that he did that because of his love for me, so after we posted that the man is sponsoring people to shop free of charge from GROSCHEN, we decided to give him his credit by tagging him so people can appreciate him, and that was it, only for this man to be recruiting people that followed him and lying to them that he does travelling visa and all, about 3 people gave him money now without asking me, now they are crying in my DM,” the blogger revealed.

In a separate post, he added: “How desperate can you all be? God 💔💔even me wey get the name GLB NATION no open WhatsApp group say make una pay, somebody else is using my name and una subscribe, 100k each for 52 people, that’s 5.2m😯😯😯should I say you all deserve whatever you get? Because what is this?? The annoying thing you all didn’t ask me before una pay, shey the ba$tard use jazz on una ??? These subscribe alone the oloriburuku alaye baje wey ogun go kee don make 5.2m, not to talk of the travelling scam again,”

Gistlover finally shared photos of the alleged fraudster cum scammer and begged for information to lead to his arrest and prosecution.
