Troubling rumours about Genevieve Nnaji sickness started swirling on the actress’ 43rd birthday on May 3rd 2022.

Social media icon Genevieve Nnaji went offline for some time prior to her birthday.

Her last post on social media was on March 2nd after which she completely disappeared online.

Her absence alarmed fans, but things took a turn for worse when she shared a cryptic message that sparked rumours that she was mentally unstable.

Genevieve shared a quote from the Quran, a prayer mat and a grave on her Instagram story.

“It’s just a dream. Please…” she captioned the post.

Fans speculated that she probably lost someone close to her and was suffering from trauma.

“I hope all is well with her? From the day I saw her post on mental health, I guessed something was wrong,” one concerned netizen wrote.

The rumours intensified after Nnaji unfollowed everyone on social media and deleted all her posts.

Notorious Instablogger Gistlover then dropped the bombshell that Nnaji has lost her mind and been admitted to a mental hospital in Texas, USA.

The blogger attributed Genevieve Nnaji’s sickness to drugs and lesbianism.

Gistlover wrote in her now unique style: “Hello tueh tueh, please pray for actress Genevieve Nnaji as this is a trying time for her. According to information reaching vawulence headquarters, the actress us currently does with ment issue and currently taking treatment in Houston, Texas.

“Genevieve has been admitted for psychosis in a hospital in Texas (Name withheld) she went loco some months ago they are hiding the info like say tomorrow no dey and we can’t help but tell her fans so they can put her in prayers,”

Gistlover claimed that she’s been in admission for months and her management team are fighting to keep the news out of the public sphere.

“Fans has been questioning her weird attitude of recent on Instagram and the fans has been cuteness, some are even dragging her that she is proud, why can she unfollow everyone, bla bla bla, the truth is they had to take her phone from her and archive all her post.

“CN you remember when she was posting plenty random weird stuffs? Then she tattooed a cross on her wrist with a blade, was so terrible that they had to keep an eye on her. She was admitted sometime this year and we hope she recovers fast, her media aid are really working overtime to keep the story out of the public but I feel they should let the world know so they can put her in their prayers and not drag her unnecessarily,”

Gistlover went ahead to attribute Genevieve Nnaji sickness to drugs and lesbianism.

Is Genevieve Nnaji sick?

Blogger Stella Dimoko Korkus jumped to Nnaji’s defense over allegations of being mentally sick.

Stella tried to do damage control, revealing that Genevieve is sick and receiving treatment but not for mental issues.

Korkus said she’s aware of the news and expressed disgust that someone leaked it to Gistlover with wrong info attached.

Genevieve Nnaji hospitalized

The actress is currently in a facility in Houston receiving treatment for a medical condition, Stella Dimoko Korkus confirmed.

“Nollywood actress Genevieve Nnaji needs love and prayers to overcome what she is going through and not breaking news to allege that she is down becos of drugs overuse. OMG THIS IS SO WRONG” Korkus wrote.

“I have been in the know of the MEDICAL CONDITION that she is going through but decided to let it be until she is better.

“I have been discussing with some of her close from way back and we were wondering what would happen if the info gets into the wrong hands and they decide to run with lies without investigating”.

“Just yesterday I decided I would not do the story and let her heal first and next thing I see is breaking news that she is on drugs with a supposed nurse confirming it. …. Would a real nurse who works in the US where the law works st#pidly come out to confirm such sensitive info riddled with lies instead of protecting by keeping quiet? Whoever you are I pray you lose your license to practice any kind of nursing” she fumed.

“Pray for Genevieve to come out of what she is going through and may God forgive those of you who are already slamming her online. .. DID YOU SEE A DOCTORS REPORT SAYING SHE TOOK DRUGS?” Korkus concluded.
