Controversial Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu has taken aim at actress Genevieve Nnaji over a post she made concerning spirituality.

Mental health has spiritual roots and can be solved by getting yourself ‘rebaptised’, Nnaji said.

Uche Maduagwu disagreed with that and clapped back at her in a scathing post on Instagram.

His post has generated widespread reactions, mostly negative, for daring to attack darling like Nnaji.

According to her, we can only find solutions to mental health by looking in the spiritual realm.

“Mental health is more spiritual than it is physical. Rededicate your life to the God you serve. Get baptized,” she wrote.

Fans applauded her post but not Maduagwu, who has a habit of attacking other celebrities for attention.

Uche reshared Genevieve’s post and slammed her for her mindset.

According to him, actresses turn to spirituality when they reach a certain age and fail to find a husband.

“When dem no fit find husband dem go spiritual. Stop misleading youths. Mental health has nothing to do with spirituality,” he fired.

“Na big fallacy to tell people to get rebaptised. Even Jesus baptised only once,” Maduagwu replied.
