Sylvester’s Family Calls for the Arrest of Kemi Olunloyo for Claiming He Agreed to Be Beaten As A Cult Initiation

The family of the late Sylvester Oromoni through their attorneys have called for the arrest of troublesome journalist Kemi Olunoyo.

A petition has been sent to the Lagos State Police Command from Falana and Falana’s Chambers, the lawyers retained by the family.

The petition calls for Kemi to be invited in for questioning over a ‘reckless allegation’ she made against the late Sylvester.

Kemi Olunloyo claimed that Sylvester agreed to be beaten by his friends as part of his initiation into the cult.

She also said he drank engine oil as part of that same process.

Her claims run contrary to the accepted story that Sylvester was beaten by colleagues after refusing to join their cult.

Following Kemi’s claims, the upset Oromoni family has called for action.

The petition to police was titled: “‘Request For Investigation Of The Allegation Made By Ms Kemi Olunloyo On The Tragic Death Of Sylvester Oromoni At Dowen College, Lekki, Lagos.’

It asked for Kemi to be investigated over her claims.

“According to a false statement credited to her, Ms Olunloyo claimed that ‘Sylvester Oromoni wanted to join the cult, he agreed to be beaten and drank Engine oil as part of the initiation process.’
