Ogochukwu Anene, Nigerian Mother-of-5 Allegedly Beaten To Death By Husband Over Loaf Of Bread

Ogochukwu Anene, a Nigerian woman and mother of five children, was allegedly beaten to death by her husband over a loaf of bread.

The incident happened in Enugu state sometime within the past few days.

A social media user who was presumably close to the family narrated the sorry incident on social media.

“It hits home. And I can’t say so much. Sometimes when I scream, I hear some whispers from close quarters reminding me that I’m blowing things out of proportion. Hopefully, my relatives in Umuokpu will fight back, fiercely. Cos I can bet that they won’t take this lying low.

“The lesson is, don’t manage a man who beat you Don’t pray for a man who slap you Don’t live with a man who threaten your life. The day he may keel you, it may be because you took a breathe and he wasn’t happy with that.

May your beautiful soul rest, Ogochukwu Anene. Just because of bread, you paid with your life. Now your children will have to forge ahead without you. So sad. Yours, AV,” the netizen wrote.

How Ogochukwu Anene died

A second social media user also confirmed the story with more details after speaking with the family of the deceased Ogochukwu Anene.

“This is ADA Awka by name Ogochukwu Anene from Umuokpu village Awka. She was married to one Mr Ndubisi Wilson Uwadiegwu from Enugu State who beat her to death and is planning to bury her without informing her people properly. Ogo was blessed with five children, 4 boys and a girl.

The first son who is 14 years of age said that their father used mirror 🪞 and beat their mom because their mom asked him to buy bread 🍞 for them and he said he had no money.

“So when their mom used her money and got one loaf of bread, the father went to the kitchen and finished the whole bread and when asked him why he finished the whole bread without keeping any for the children, he started beating her leading to her death.

This is incredibly sad. May her soul rest in peace.
