Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has apologise to his first wife, May, for disrespecting her by marrying a second wife behind her back and then pretending he did nothing wrong.
In a post on Instagram, Yul finally owned up to his mistakes, finally begging May to forgive him.
He said he’s not perfect and no one is perfect but he didn’t marry a second wife to hurt her.
Yul ended by begging for May to forgive him so they can live in harmony as a polygamous family.
He wrote: “To my dear wife, Queen May Yul-Edochie, I acknowledge that I hurt you deeply and I’ve apologized to you countless times. I take the blame for my actions. I agree with you that polygamy shouldn’t be forced on anyone. You never bargained for it from the beginning neither did I. But I guess life happens.
“You already know the whole story. I didn’t do it to disrespect you, I didn’t do it to replace you nor because I do not love you anymore, no. I have always loved you and always will. I’ve been a good husband and a wonderful father. I’ve supported all your hustle from day one, I have been an exceptional father to our children till date making sure they lack nothing and always there for everyone. Out of 100 I have done 99 things right, hating me because of one thing isn’t the best.
“Nobody is perfect. I’m not. You’re not. Nobody is, except God. I assure you that nobody is trying to take your place. I have apologized to you countless times sincerely from my heart. I’m sorry. I’ve always loved you and always will. Butuo nwanyi oma. We can live peacefully and happily. ❤❤❤”

Yul Edochie
Yul Chibuike Daniel Edochie popularly known as Yul Edochie (born 7 January 1982) is a Nigerian actor, named after Russian actor Yul Brynner.
He is from Anambra state Nigeria, the son of Nigerian actor Pete Edochie.
Yul was raised both in Lagos and Enugu. He is the last of six children.
He attended the University of Port Harcourt, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Dramatic Arts.
The actor got married at the age of 22 to May Aligwe. The couple have three sons and a daughter named Kambi Edochie, Dani Edochie, Karl Edochie and Victory Zane Chukwubuike Yul Edochie.
On April 27, 2022, the actor revealed he had secretly married actress Judy Austin, as his second wife after they welcomed a son.
May was angry with the news and never forgave Yul. In December 2022, Yul Edochie apologise to his first wife.
