IK Ogbonna Shares Emotional Video Of Mother's Final Moments As He Mourns Her

Nigerian actor, model and filmmaker, IK Ogbonna has taken to Instagram to share an emotional video collage of his mother following her death.

The actor’s mother died three days ago and he posted on Instagram that he had suffered a loss but did reveal who died.

He took to Instagram today to reveal it’s his mother who died.

“Rest in peace my Angel,” he wrote as he shared videos documenting her life.

IK Ogbonna Biography

Ikechukwu Mitchel Ogbonna, professionally known as IK Ogbonna, is a Nigerian film and television actor, model, director, and television personality.

He is famous for playing romantic roles in Nollywood movies.

His most prominent role was starring as La Porsche in the 2013 Nigerian film known as Playing Safe alongside Tonto Dikeh and Ini Edo.

He has also starred in the likes of Disguise, The Washerman and Pebbles of Love among others.

While he was in secondary school, he took home the Milo Awards for Fine Arts. He subsequently enrolled at the University of Jos in Plateau State where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology.

Ogbonna debuted in Nollywood in 2013 and has gone on to build a successful career appearing in dozens of movies.

IK Ogbonna ex-wife is top Colombian model, Sonia Morales. The pair met on Instagram and had a beautiful wedding in Zagreb, Croatia.

In August 2019, Sonia Morales announced her divorce from IK.

She wrote in a letter on social media: “This is a hard letter to write as I am pretty sure I will cry my way through this post.

“I know I should have said all these a long time ago, but back then but I was just weak and could not think straight.
