Controversial Nigerian actor Uche Maduagwu claims that he revived Jim Iyke’s career that was previously dead!
According to Maduagwu, the stunt he pulled with Jim Iyke in which the actor attacked him for always dissing him online was the biggest boost to the actor’s then dormant career.
Maduagwu made the claim during an appearance on a podcast.
Asked if the attack was real or staged, he said: “The truth is, I revived Jim Iyke’s career with that stunt.
“Before that stunt, you dey hear of Jim Iyke everywhere? I revived his acting career,”

James Ikechukwu Esomugha popularly known as Jim Iyke is a Nigerian actor.
Iyke was born in Libreville, Gabon.
His parents, from Ogwugwu Village in Enugwu-Agidi town of Anambra State, changed their name from Okolue to Esomugha.
He is the only boy in a family of eight children and attended secondary school in F. G. C. Kwali Abuja from 1985 to 1991, then earned a diploma in Banking and Finance and a BSc in philosophy from the University of Jos, Plateau State.
Jim Iyke began acting in 1998. He is one of the highest paid actors in Nollywood and has appeared in over 150 films.
