Zanele Pretty Hlatshwayo – Biography of South African Beauty Stabbed to Death By Boyfriend After Ending their Relationship

A 26-year-old woman, Zanele Pretty Hlatshwayo, was allegedly stabbed to death by her boyfriend in South Africa after she dumped him.

The incident happened on Wednesday, March 15th, 2023, in Witbank, Mpumalanga.

According to her sister, Zanele had recently ended the relationship with the suspect identified as Marvin Lambert, but he did not accept it.

It was gathered that the man killed Zanele Pretty Hlatshwayo in front of their one-year-old son and then attempted to commit suicide.

The suspect is allegedly in a hospital under police surveillance after the suicide attempt.

Meanwhile, the deceased’s sister, Precious Thokozile Hlatshwayo, friends and other family members have taken to Facebook to demand justice.

Mentioning the suspect’s facebook account, Precious Hlatshhwayo wrote: “Marvin Lambert stabbed my sister Ntombizanele Nele Hlatshwayo to death in front of their 1-year-old boy when she decided to end the relationship. May it be known. I will not be silenced! #justiceforzanele”

Another concerned friend wrote: “Marvin Lambert how do you take a mother’s life in front of the child? Where is your conscious? #Justiceforzanele,”

Ntombizanele Nele Hlatshwayo, also known as Zanelle Pretty Hlatshwayo was a beautiful South African entrepreneur who was tragically stabbed to death by her boyfriend, Marvin Lambert, in front of their 1-year-old son.

Zanelle was murdered by her boyfriend on Wednesday, March 15th 2023, after attempting to end their relationship.

Her sister Precious raised the alarm in a series of Facebook posts after her tragic death.

South African organisation, Women for Change mourned Pretty Zanelle following her passing.

“Zanele Pretty Hlatshwayo was allegedly stabbed to death by her ex-boyfriend in Witbank on 15 March. She reportedly ended the relationship with the father of her child, and he did not accept it. It is alleged that the man killed Zanele in front of their one-year-old son,” the organisation wrote on Twitter.

Zanelle hailed from Witbank in Mpumalanga within the Emalahleni Local Municipality.

She attended Witbank High School followed by her higher education.

She was running her own business, Afri_branded Beauty services, prior to her tragic death at the hands of her own boyfriend in March 2023.

Zanelle was in a long-term relationship with her boyfriend-turned-murderer, Marvin Lambert, The couple welcomed their first child on April 8th 2021.

As her name showed, Pretty Zanelle Hlatshwayo was beautiful, kind and bubbly. She was confident and vivacious as evidenced by running her own business.

Her tragic death was reported by her sister, Precious Thokozile Hlatshwayo. Precious is articulate and well-educated, a graduate of the Witbank High School just like her sister as well as the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) in Pretoria.

Precious wrote on Facebook after her sister’s passing: “Marvin Lambert stabbed my sister Ntombizanele Nele Hlatshwayo to death infront of their 1 year old boy when she decided to end the relationship. May it be known. I will not be silenced! #jutsiceforzanele,”

She wrote in a second post: “I kept thinking of how scared she might have been when that psychopath kept piercing through her skin and that breaks me!💔💔It tears me apart when i think of how frightened she might have felt when she realised she’s helpless when he didn’t even show any remorse at the sound of her screaming voice. I will never recover from this💔😭 #Justiceforzanele,”
