Who was Ralph Cummings? Newmarket Man Found Dead After Candia Motorcycle Crash

Ralph Cummings was a Newmarket NH man who was found dead Saturday after a motorcycle crash in Candia.

New Hampshire State troopers responded to a crash along Route 101 eastbound around 6:30 p.m. and found a man on the road.

Preliminary investigations revealed Cummings, 44, lost control of his Harley Davidson motorbike while traveling at a high rate of speed and crashed within the travel lanes of the road.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

There was no passenger on his motorcycle, and no other vehicles were involved in the crash, police said.

Cummings was not wearing a helmet.

Route 101 eastbound was closed in the area of mile marker 109 due to the crash for at least two hours. Drivers were told to anticipate delays and avoid the area if possible.
