Dayanara Santiago, a 30-year-old woman from York was killed in a fiery crash that occurred in Lancaster County Tuesday.
A two-vehicle crash occurred on Route 30 East near mile marker 256.6 in West Hempfield Township around 11 a.m. Tuesday when a truck and a four-door sedan rammed into each other.
Santiago, who was the only occupant of her car, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The coroner’s office ruled Santiago’s death an accident from multiple traumatic injuries.
Santiago, according to her Facebook page, originally hails from Guayama in Puerto Rico but resided in Hartford.
WGAL shared photos from the crash showing a car caught on fire.
The crash shut down the eastbound lanes of Route 30 for nearly seven hours. The westbound lanes were also closed for an extended period of time.
