A Canterbury man identified as Sean Ambrose, 40, has been arrested in connection with a shooting in Cornish, New Hampshire.
Ambrose reportedly shot Eric Letendre, 44, of West Baldwin, twice on Tuesday at the Fairgrounds Bar and Grill restaurant.
The shooting left Letendre with non-life-threatening injuries.
According to The Maine Department of Public Safety, state troopers were called at about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday to the Fairgrounds Bar and Grill also known as Fairgrounds Pizza and Pub at 156 Maple St. in response to a report of a shooting in the parking lot.
Officials found Letendre suffering from two gunshot wounds and applied a torniquet while waiting for rescue crews.
Letendre was flown to Maine Medical Center in Portland by a Life Flight helicopter.
Meanwhile, Ambrose was arrested and charged with reckless conduct with a firearm.
He was then transported to the York County Jail.
The owner of Fairgrounds said that the shooting stemmed from a domestic dispute that happened when people were meeting up to drop off a child. Investigators confirmed that Letendre and Ambrose are known to each other.
