Who is Sean Ambrose? Man Arrested As Suspect in Cornish Shooting

A Canterbury man identified as Sean Ambrose, 40, has been arrested in connection with a shooting in Cornish, New Hampshire.

Ambrose reportedly shot Eric Letendre, 44, of West Baldwin, twice on Tuesday at the Fairgrounds Bar and Grill restaurant.

The shooting left Letendre with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to The Maine Department of Public Safety, state troopers were called at about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday to the Fairgrounds Bar and Grill also known as Fairgrounds Pizza and Pub at 156 Maple St. in response to a report of a shooting in the parking lot.

Officials found Letendre suffering from two gunshot wounds and applied a torniquet while waiting for rescue crews.

Letendre was flown to Maine Medical Center in Portland by a Life Flight helicopter.

Meanwhile, Ambrose was arrested and charged with reckless conduct with a firearm.

He was then transported to the York County Jail.

The owner of Fairgrounds said that the shooting stemmed from a domestic dispute that happened when people were meeting up to drop off a child. Investigators confirmed that Letendre and Ambrose are known to each other.
