Who is Elizabeth Yingling? Hanford Woman Arrested after Stuffing Mother’s Body Wrapped In Plastic Bags in her Closet

Elizabeth Yingling is a Hanford, CA, woman who was arrested and charged with homicide after strangling her mother to death.

Yingling, 37, was arrested after police found her mother, Elizabeth Yingling’s body wrapped in plastic and stuffed in her closet on May 18th.

Kelli Yingling, who also lived in the same house, was also arrested after being implicated in the murder.

Police officers were called out to a home in the 900 block of W. Encore Drive around 2:09 p.m. on May 18 for a welfare check of an elderly woman.

A neighbor called and said she had not seen Peggi Yingling for several weeks and that it was unlike her.

When officers arrived, they entered the house and found the body of an elderly woman locked in a closet.

Autopsy results showed that Peggi did not die a natural death and showed signs of being strangled.

Elizabeth had previously been in trouble with the law for elder abuse and criminal threats against her mother.
