Lil Tay father Chris Hope is married to Heenan Hope, a ‘Korean scammer’ whilst his former girlfriend was Angela Tian, Lil Tay mom.

Christopher J. Hope had a strained relationship with Lil Tay and her mom Angela Tian.

When she blew up several years ago, he claimed that he was unaware of Lil Tay’s online activities until he saw her videos on the internet.

Hope also said that he was concerned about his daughter’s well-being and safety, and that he tried to contact Angela Tian to discuss the situation, but she ignored him.

In 2018, Christopher J. Hope filed for a court order to gain full custody of Lil Tay, and to stop her from posting any more videos online.

He argued that Lil Tay was being exposed to inappropriate and harmful content, and that Angela Tian was neglecting her education and health.

He also alleged that Angela Tian was using Lil Tay’s earnings for her own benefit, and that she had cut off his access to his daughter.

The custody battle between Lil Tay’s parents lasted for more than two years, and involved several hearings, allegations, and appeals.

Lil Tay Allegations against her father Chris Hope

Lil Tay made her first public appearance in five years with an explosive Instagram Live session where she made several accusations regarding her “absentee” father Chris Hope and his wife Heenan.

On Saturday, the 16-year-old hopped on her IG live stream and accused her father of committing inappropriate s*xual behavior with multiple women in front of her.

She also accused one of the women, named Honey Hope, of physically abusing her and providing photos of her bruises.

“They were always playing s*xually inappropriate movies in front of me,” she said. “She would always take her anger out on me. She punched me, pinched me. Chris shoved me.”

She added, “It was the middle of the night and I was awakened by them. They were next to me and she had her hand on my leg. They didn’t care.”

Lil Tay continued to lambast her father Chris Hope: “[Chris Hope] is not the fucking good guy here.

“He wanted control over my career and money and I had to go through, me and my family, had to go through even more years of abuse through the court system because of him. But in the end we won. I am free now. I thank God for it, I thank my mom for it.”

Death Hoax

Lil Tay has also accused her father of masterminding her infamous death hoax from August 2023.

As we reported then: On Aug. 9, 2023, a statement was posted to Lil Tay’s Instagram page — reportedly by her family — claiming that she and her brother, Jason Tian, had died and that the circumstances surrounding their death remained under investigation.

“It is with a heavy heart that we share the devastating news of our beloved Claire’s sudden and tragic passing,” the now-deleted statement read.

“We have no words to express the unbearable loss and indescribable pain. This outcome was entirely unexpected, and has left us all in shock. Her brother’s passing adds an even more unimaginable depth to our grief.”

“During this time of immense sorrow, we kindly ask for privacy as we grieve this overwhelming loss, as the circumstances surrounding Claire and her brother’s passing are still under investigation,” the statement continued.

“Claire will forever remain in our hearts, her absence leaving an irreplaceable void that will be felt by all who knew and loved her.”

The next day, Aug. 10, 2023, Lil Tay confirmed she is not dead.

She released a statement to TMZ saying that she was alive and her Instagram had been hacked to release the false report of her death.

She said, “I want to make it clear that my brother and I are safe and alive, but I’m completely heartbroken, and struggling to even find the right words to say. It’s been a very traumatizing 24 hours. All day yesterday, I was bombarded with endless heartbreaking and tearful phone calls from loved ones all while trying to sort out this mess.”

“My Instagram account was compromised by a 3rd party and used to spread jarring misinformation and rumors regarding me, to the point that even my name was wrong,” she continued. “My legal name is Tay Tian, not ‘Claire Hope.’”

Tay claimed that the team at Meta had helped her regain control of her account.

After Lil Tay slammed her father, Christopher Hope, as an “abusive racist” who faked her death, he released a statement denying all accusations.

“The person who is responsible for that Instagram post, as well as anyone repeating the completely false and libelous accusation within it, are virtually certain to become defendants in a defamation lawsuit,” the Canada-based attorney told TMZ in a statement.

“Everything stated is 100% false, and I trust that this should be obvious to anyone who knows me or the long history of absurd and untrue statements made by the various people who have controlled the Instagram account.”

Previously, Lil Tay father Chris Hope revealed he only wanted her best interests which is why he stopped her social media career.

When my daughter’s social media began to go viral this year, I disagreed with most of the social media activity. I took legal steps to stop things which I felt were dangerous to her physical and mental health and to her future,” Chris Hope told Hollywood Life.

“I do not think a 10 year old girl should be put in those situations and made to drop out of school so that she can make money for other people.”

Apparently, Lil Tay’s “flexing” videos of her holding wads of cash and sitting in expensive cars going viral had led to her mother, Angela Tian, being fired from her real estate firm after it was revealed that she was involved in the making of those clips.

“Everyone else involved in this situation is motivated by money and the possibility of making money off of my daughter. I am not fighting about money; I am fighting for my daughter – for her happiness and her future,” Chris revealed.
