Vicky Renee, Crystal Lynn and Ida Thomas Welch – Who were the Ridgeland Triple Homicide Victims?

Three women who were found killed in a home in Madison County Sunday have been identified.

Authorities identified the women Monday as siblings Vicky Renee Welch, 56, and Crystal Lynn Welch, 42 – and their mother, Ida Thomas Welch, 76.

All three were killed by their brother, Ivory James Welch III, who was later killed in a shootout with officers.

At around 3:30 p.m. Sunday, police were called for a welfare check at a home on 7146 Old Canton Road.

Upon arrival, law enforcement found 42-year-old Crystal Lynn Welch, 56-year-old Vicky Renee Welch and 76-year-old Ida Thomas Welch deceased in the living room.

The three victims all had been “shot to death in the home.”

Authorities named Crystal and Vicky’s brother, Ivory James Welch III, as the primary suspect in the homicide.

Welch fled to Arizona before being located by troopers with the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

Troopers attempted to apprehend him but he reportedly fired shots at officers. Police retaliated, killing him at the scene.
