Who is Taylon Nichelle Celestine? Florida Woman 'Directed by God' to Go On Shooting Spree

Taylon Nichelle Celestine, 22, is a Florida woman who was arrested after embarking on a shooting spree during Monday’s solar eclipse.

Nichelle allegedly believed God had directed her to shoot at people during the celestial event!

Celestine is alleged to have driven her purple Dodge Challenger onto Interstate 10 at the 112 mile marker in Florida and opened fire on vehicles passing by.

Her first attack saw her hit a vehicle multiple times, leaving the driver being hit by broken glass and grazed on the arm by a bullet.

Celestine is alleged to have shot another vehicle near the 107-mile marker.

This driver was hit in the neck by a bullet and transported to a nearby hospital with troubling injuries.

Luckily, Florida Highway Patrol troopers by then had responded to the reports of an active shooter and apprehended Celestine after conducting a traffic stop.

She was found with a 9mm hangun and an AR-15 in her Dodge Challenger and charged with attempted murder, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and improper discharge of a weapon.

Police said Celestine had told staff at the hotel she was staying in earlier in the day that God had directed her to go on a shooting spree in relation to the solar eclipse.

She’s currently being held at the Holmes County Jail.
