Sylvester Oromoni’s Autopsy Clears Schoolmates and Doyen College of Murder – Details

Sylvester Oromoni‘s autopsy results have been released and it has cleared his schoolmates and authorities of Doyen College of murder.

According to the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odomosu, two autopsies carried out on the young man did not show he was murdered.

He revealed that everyone arrested in connection with the case has therefore been released on bail.

“The report of the Post Mortem did not bring out the issue of m*rder on anybody. Besides the result of the autopsy, the court order that we got has elapsed and we have released the house master and others on bail, because there was nothing that indicted them of m*rder,” he said.

Odomosu said the suspects had to be released because once murder has been ruled out, suspects cannot be held without bail.

“It is only a m*rder case that is not bailable. Every other offences are bailable. They have been in custody for more than twenty days and that is infringing on their fundamental human rights.

“Since medical and legal reports have not indicted them so far, I think there is need to allow them have their freedom because bail is not the end of the case.”

Despite being highly anticipated, Sylvester Omoroni’s autopsy doesn’t seem to have any good news for Nigerians.

Background of the Sylvester Oromoni Case

The story of young Sylvester had taken over Nigeria after photos and videos of his last moments hit social media.

According to reports, he was beaten up by his colleagues after refusing to join their cult.

The shocking nature of his death and young 12-year-olds knowing about cultism shocked the nation.

His issue trended for weeks with the hashtag #Justiceforsylvester.

After intense public pressure, some of his colleagues and school authorities were arrested.

According to this latest update, however, they have all been freed.

It seems this justice everyone is seeking for Sylvester is not going to come to pass.
