A son of the late Charte Dunn, wife of the late Nigerian associate professor of Theology, Marinus Iwuchukwu, has spoken about his mother’s death.
Frank Williams claims to be the son of the late Dunn, 50, who shot herself to death after murdering the Nigerian professor with a knife.
Dunn and Iwuchukwu were found dead by police in the Professor’s home in Wilkins Township, Pittsburgh, Pa., in a case of murder-suicide.
Following her passing, her family members claim Iwachukwu was abusing Dunn and that triggered her murder-suicide episode.
Williams opened a GoFundMe to raise money to fund her funeral but also to raise awareness for domestic violence and suicide.
“Hi, My name is Frank and I’m creating this fundraiser in the Memory of my Mother CHARTÈ DUNN to tell her story and to assist us in Funeral Expenses;
We’d like to advocate on Domestic Abuse and Suicide Awareness and Mental Health Awareness. My Mother was a Victim of Domestic Abuse by her Husband, Which led to her unfortunate passing.
This is very unfortunate event that many people may experience we would like to create awareness for people that’s gone through this or currently going through this, it’s very disheartening and words can’t express the anguish.
Our Family would be grateful for any proceeds,
Also make sure you tell your LOVED ONES you love them wholeheartedly, always walk in the means of love and be forgiving. ❤️❤️” he wrote.
