Shane Curry is a 20-year-old from Stow, Massachusetts who has been arrested on suspicion of murdering his 17-year-old girlfriend.
Naveah Goddard was found dead at a home in Stow on Friday, April 5th.
Stow Police were called to a home on Great Road for a well-being check around 4:30 p.m. Friday to conduct a wellbeing check.
According to the Middlesex County District Attorney’s office, once officers got to the home, Curry stopped them from coming inside for nearly two hours.
Eventually, police managed to gain access and found the body of Naveah Goddard, 17, who was the girlfriend of Shane Curry.

Authorities considered the death of Goddard as suspicious and are investigating it as such.
Curry has been charged with assault and battery on a household or family member and assault and battery causing serious bodily injury.
He is expected to be arraigned on Monday in Concord District Court.
Meanwhile, the Middlesex County District Attorney’s office and Stowe police are still actively investigating Goddard’s death.
The Chief Medical Examiner’s Office is also set to conduct an autopsy on the body of Naveah Goddard to determine her cause of death.
